Mana is a currency used to build and upgrade defenses. Unlike Dungeon Defenders 1, mana is not used to upgrade armor. (see coins). The maximum amount of mana a player can hold at any time is 40 at level 0 or 1, with an additional 20 per level, allowing for a maximum of 1220 mana at level of 60.
